Review of Concealment Express IWB holster

If you're getting hot spots try wrapping the sharper parts against the skin with moleskin. It's cheap, stays in place and lasts quite a while, I've had mine on for about 18 months and it's not time to change it yet.

Where did you get the moleskin?

I have only worn it a few times but I like it so far. My wife does not. She said it digs into her side. So, I am thinking about ordering a Tulster holster for her. They look comfortable and if she doesn't like it I will try it.

I'm waiting on a custom carry concept uno and ordered the CE until it comes.

I ran drills with it on Sunday and was surprised at how decent it is. Like mentioned, it's a little sharp, but not terribly so, and I always wear a Nike compression shirt or wife beater underneath my shirt so that helps to avoid some of the digging. I've found that most of the digging is the slide/rear sight/back end. I wish they made their holsters to ride all the way up.

But for the price, and the fact it's Amazon Prime available makes it a totally decent choice.

The down side to those holsters is the plastic clips. They hold on, not down. If not anchored well you will draw the holster with the gun. Do yourself a favor and get the Ulti Clip. It locks into place. No belt needed. Just swap out the clip you have on there now.

I had the same problem as well. I didn't like how far the clip protrudes so I took off the rubber grommets and positioned them outside the clip. Takes a few mm off of printing and holds on to my regular non-gun belt like white on rice.

Recently received an IWB Kydex holster from Concealment Express for my Shield 9mm.

The only downside is that the edges are sharp. So much so that I felt compelled to knock them down with light file and some sandpaper. You can see on the second pic that I knocked down the outer edge but left the inner one - the outer one was as sharp as the inner one before I knocked it down.

I also feel like the nose of the holster could be rounded more. You can see this up close on the 4th pic. I might hit that with a dremal and some sandpaper.

!

I did the same thing. Ground it down with 300grit followed by polishing it down with 1000grit then 2000grit.

My MP shield has a fine scratch on the left side of its slide from the holster.

I also have not had this problem. But, it is not as secure as a metal clip. It is very easy to get on and off which I like. The metal clip is a pain. If I know that I am not going to have to take my holster off, I will often go with the metal clip.

I have never once pulled my gun and the holster come with it. If you have the proper belt and have the clip seated right, it does not come off.

The edges should not be sharp on a holster, particularly an IWB.

You can uses some sand paper on the edges to fix it.
