Hi all,I'm new here, but I read this forum by months.
Revolver 627 or 686 4.2" barrel compensated for IDPA & for home & carry personal defense(8shoot best) IMHO would be a good idea expecially for europe(with common easily available .357 magnum ammo semiwadcutter 158 grain for great power /low recoil-maybe with rubber grip )where HP ammo are forbidden.

S&W revolvers are available in international market with .357 magnum ammo(best balance between stopping power- quality of precision-manageable recoil for a 4.2 barrel revo) only 3" & 5" barrel with compensator and 4.2 compensated barred revo would fill this commercial and practical-tecnical hole.
What do U think about this mine?
Tks all and Long live Smith&Wesson!!!
:)

I thought that in IDPA you are limited to 4 inch barrels and no comp. And you may shoot a 8 shot, but my only load 6.

Yes, sorry, the impetus of writing, thinking too far ahead with enthusiasm ,I imagined an IDPA more practical and realistic, skipping a step; perhaps in a near future we could use the same revolver for personal defense and for the match( saving a little of money), using loaders from 8 shots, laser and compensator.A 627 PRO comp may already be in production, would be enough to make a hole in the barrel...LOL

Yes,perhaps there have been PC with 4 inch barrel comp revolver, maybe with 6 shoots rather than 8,but they are discontinued or unavailable, at least here in Europe ..... Have U folks some photo of these please?
