Don't know where this should go but I want to thank the forum and Rock Island Auctions for the special deal on the catalog for their upcoming auction. Three beautiful plastic coil bound books, each about 300 pages in full color all for a measly $10. I'm guessing it cost that much just to ship them. These are virtually reference books with realistic prices. Being a former printer I can guarantee you these are first class all the way. I can't say enough good things about them. If you missed out this time keep an eye on those banner ads in the future in case they do it again. Thanks again to the forum leadership for bringing us this opportunity.

I have 4 bids in.... Dang advertisement could cost me a lot more than $10!

Just makes good sense. If your going to sell expensive toys, go where the kids have money;)

I got mine via FedX the day after I ordered them. WOW! I've seen their ads in Shotgun News and even the WSJ for years, but had never seen a catalog. We're thinking we may drive over and spend a night or two and watch part of the auction, but I'm almost afraid to get that close to all that beautiful stuff.

mine was waiting for me when we got home from tulsa yesterday. this looks like it could get expensive. good thing i had a good show in tulsa.

You would be correct... that was the deal, free catalogs, just pay $10 shipping. :D Love mine, can't stop perusing them.

Got mine in about one day also. Good thing I can't be at the auction, it could be very, very expensive.

Although I did (jokingly) offer to by the little woman that Tiffany-engraved 1888 S&W in the first catalog! What woman wouldn't want a gift from Tiffany's :D

Sadly, she wasn't going for it. Claims she already has a S&W revolver

I agree, it was a great offer and we were happy to work with the folks from Rock Island Auction Company. A buddy and I are road tripping to see the auction live. Can't wait.
