See what some of the old Gillette's are selling for on eBay.

They do get the job done, and if you have a brush and shaving mug, pure heaven, tickles a little putting on the shaving soap.:)

Do not know about his razor commercial.

I do howevr tend to believe him when he said that he worked for four years to convince someone to do a show three fat guys runing a pawn shop.

That being said as scripted as the program is I take it with a bit of skeptisim.

Like the song goes, Everything old is new again. I'm skeptical you can get good blades.

Am I the only one here who supposes that Rick uses the thing on his head and not his face?

I don't want the best shave I've ever had, there..... :D

I bought one on a whim and was a bit disappointed in it. The razor is heavy, as most of that type were in the past, but it seems a bit off-balance-like the weight isn't in the right place for the best grip and shave.

I would not buy it, if I were you. OTOH, there are lots of older razors for sale, some at "reasonable" prices and some pretty far above reasonable.

You should be able to find one and I'd expect you'll be happier with it than with the pawn star's model.

I have friend that swears by the disposables from Aldi. Haven't tried 'em yet since I haven't run out of Quattros yet.

Women should not buy razors for men and vice versa. I've used a triple track for more than 15 years and was very happy. My wife got me some five-bladed, swivel head abortion for Christmas. The blades are so close together that it wants you to shave every day which I don't and won't. It is horrible on my upper lip/nostril area which is always tricky for me anyhow and it won't trim sideburns.

And woman, don't buy me a wallet either. Those two things are just subject to too much personal preference.

There's too many things in life to try and pursue perfection with.

Any Schick or Gillette works good enough for me.

For me I've always had better results with a good face wash and quality shave gel versus trying to find some magic blade. ;)
