The shop is in Montoursville about 1 1/2 hours up from Lancaster/Ronks which guys puts it in the PERFECT location for a split trip; the girls stay in the Lancaster area and shop and the boys beat feet to Montoursville-everyone gets together again in plenty of time to over eat at Millers the Shady Maple or the Good and Plenty.
The selection of glass, including spotting scopes and binoculars (handguns and rifles also) has to be seen to be believed, more importantly it is there for you to see and look through.
We had the good fortune to be attended to by Gary (don't want to post his last name-he is the only 'Gary' that works there) who after asking what I wanted to do with the scope promptly (AND after having been told that we were probably more interested in looking than buying) had six different pieces laid out in front of me and the Mrs-four of which were exactly the models I was trying to decide between; Trijicon, Meopta, Steiner and Leupold-the others were a Nightforce (sp?) and a very high end Schmidt/Bender (sp?) that he said was good to look through just to get an idea of what the real big bucks gets you.
About an hour later we walked out with a Steiner P4Xi-in a 100% factory sealed box (I look carefully at these type of things) at a price equal to the best I have seen on line.
Interesting, for me, observations: The Trijicon Accupower was marked as being made in Japan-the Steiner was marked as being made in the U.S. and the literature states that it is designed, machined and made in the U.S., the Leupolds (including the 5/6 HD models were of course marked as being made in the U.S, only one of the Vortex models I saw was NOT made in Japan and that was labeled as being from the Philippines and of course the big buck one was from Germany.
