I have been having trouble with the nerves that run between my right thumb and trigger finger and also a popping in the joints of my right hand trigger finger. Last week I went to see a hand surgeon and she said I have Dupuytrens disease which is generally genetic and from people of norther europe descent which I am. Anyways she said the best fix is to cut out the buildup and also make sure there is no nerve damage so tomorrow I will get the fix. The possibility if no action is taken is that my thumb will be unable to open eventually and also loss of motion of my trigger finger. I can shoot just about as well left handed/left eye so there should not be any real loss of range time?

I thought this might be of interest to others if you are having nerve issues in the hand and also what looks like a callous build up under the skin of a hand.

I'll second that. I hope all goes perfect and your retain all the use of all of your digits, on both hands. As someone who has had numerous injuries to my hands over the years, I can certainly understand where you are at, and your uncertainty at this point. God bless.

Best wishes for an excellent and speedy recovery.

Thanks everyone, what really sucks is that I just bought a custom made Rolling Block in 45-70 and can't shoot it for a week or two!!!!!

Since you're dealing with it before there can be permanent damage,
you should be good to go. Probably will have minimal discomfort with
the procedures they have been developing over the years.
And, the best part is you'll REALLY enjoy getting back into action.
Keep us posted; I'll be rooting for you, TACC1.
