So Ive been asking about duelling trees. Jumpingtargets has one but its $400 plus taxes and shipping.
Simply crazy cost for 50-70 worth of metal.
Anyway I heard good things from the S&W forum in the states about Actions Targets.
So I called them up and asked about shipping costs.
I knew it wasnt going to be pretty but wanted to compare to JT.
Shocking usps ground was over $400. However UPS was $125. These are US prices, fyi.
I ordered a duelling tree and hostage tactical target. $150 for the tree and $190 for the tactical.
Thanks to Nutunfancy. I got the 20% off promo. So it was just over $400 US including shipping and customs.
Worked out to $530 Canadian to my door.
So for less than $100 I got 2 targets for the same price as JT.
Here are some pics.
Metal seems solid and there were only one package of 2 bolts missing to put the targets together.
Other than that, from order to my door was 7 days.
Happy happy.

My club has a number of centerfire and rimfire dueling trees, Texas Stars, and a couple I don't even know what they are called. But one thing I do know is that you might end up having to fine tune them by grinding here and there to get them to swing perfectly every time. A more common problem on centerfire ones where the bullet power varies a lot more. Have fun. I am building a Steel Challenge range back behind my house at the farm.
