Man, it hurts to see him with Rory Gallagher who was taken way too early.
While Cream is a generation before me, they were one of the first cassette tapes I bought for my Walkman in the early '80s. The The Best of Cream. I still remember the first time Sunshine of Your Love blasted into my 10 year old ears. I literally wore that tape out!

He was 71.
Back when it was first released, "Sunshine of Your Love" was my immediate favorite. From then on, I listened to a different kind of music. I have CDs of Disraeli Gears, and Wheels of Fire. Bless you, Jack Bruce.
All of us that grew up in that "era" are truly lucky! My 18 year old twins are listening to my albums with the same intensity we did in the day.
