RIP Jack LaLanne

Jack LaLanne, 96, died at home yesterday from respiratory failure due to pneumonia. RIP Mr. LaLanne.

I just saw that Misty. I used to watch him when I was young. I liked his show as he always seemed so happy and perky. Actually I had thought he passed away long ago. RIP.

He seemed immortal. I used to see him on TV in the mid 60's before running off to grammer school and he had the same enthusiasm at the end as he did back then. What a life force he was.

Saw that. One who escaped the old maxim about the good dieing young. He lived a long life and didn't seem to stray too far. Hopefully he is off to bigger and better things.

well jack almost seemed to be immortal. i remember seeing him on the news when he was in his 80's celebrating his birthday by doing some kind of strongman stunt.
he had a good long life

Maybe vaguely.. I seem to recall a big German Shepherd ??
I used to watch him as young sprout back in the late 50's
during the day.. I think he was on during the day anyway..

Like George Burns, I was starting to think he would live
forever.. But both failed to hit the 100 mark even though
I was expecting both to do it.
I guess things go downhill fast after you hit 90. :/
I'm kind of surprised pneumonia is what did him in. You would
think they could treat that fairly well these days.
