I always liked that song "What becomes of the broken hearted"
The singers from the 1950's and early 1960's are leaving us at a
faster and faster pace. There used to be alot of retro oldies concerts where some of the guys popular back then would preform. I saw Little
Richard long when he was past his prime and it was one of the best
concerts I ever saw. Also saw others where they would put several
of these singers on the bill and do a tour. I enjoyed all those shows.

YES! For my money, this song was one of the great unappreciated hits. Even though it made the charts, it was not as popular as it should have been. Did you catch the smooth and easy way he moves in the clip? I'm truly saddened by the news.

I remember one of the first not-really oldies concerts from '72, IIRC, at Madison Square Garden: Jay and the Americans, The Four Tops, The Four Seasons, and Martha Reeves, performing solo. I kid you not. THAT was a concert!

Was this the "Garden Party" Rick Nelson sang about? It happened in '72 I think.
