Roper Grip Screw needed

I have a set of original Roper double ribbon design grips for an I frame Colt but at 1 1/16 in the grip screw is about 1/16 in too short. I need one about 1 1/8 in long. I'm wondering if someone has one to sell or has any suggestions on where to get one short of having one machined out which is probably what I'll have to do. It seems like a hard fix. Any input is appreciated.

I wonder if the grip screw from an older S&W J-Frame would work ... Do you have any other grips around to try .
Grip makers usually sell grip screws ... I relaced a set of Colt Police Positive Special grips with a set from Eagle Grips , Inc.
Perhaps they will sell the screws also .
