Rossi (EMF) 92

I just happened to be at the LGS when this rifle was put out on the rack. It's a 357mag/38sp and what impressed me was how smooth the action is. Of course I brought it home. My only complaint is how weak the case colors are.

Pietta (Cimarron) Pistolero

Didn't want the 92 to be lonely so this came home with it. Also 357mag/38sp.

Is that an older R92, or a new gun? It looks like it doesn't have the safety on top of the bolt that most of the newer R92s have...

Great looking carbine!

Very nice! Like cheese and wine, a pistol caliber carbine/rifle absolutely needs to be paired up with an appropriate sidearm. Here's my .357 team, an Interarms import Rossi 92 SRC alongside a Cimarron El Malo II.

Had one, which I should have kept. But it went to a good home.

The Brazilians have been making these for decades. Longer than Winchester. They have it down pat.

I had two Rossi M92s for cowboy action shooting. One was a plain Jane model in .44-40 and the other was a Navy Arms import in .45 Colt - a much prettier version, octagon barrel, etc. I will someday post pictures of the .45 version; the .44-40 went to a friend along with a couple of original Ruger Vaqueros in the same caliber. That Navy Arms .45/c got me several "clean" matches back in the day. Great rifle!

Yes, older rifle and it does not have the safety. One of the reasons that I brought it home. It seems that EMF was able to get them w/o the safety for a while until they couldn't any longer.

I have a Stainless Rossi 92 in 357 with a couple of SAA clones, one Italian and one German (Saur & Sone). I have a Blue 92 and a Marlin 1894 along with two pair of Rugar Vaqueros (Old Model) all in 45 Colt and pre lock. A shotgun and leather for every group.

The nice thing about guns, is you don't have to feed them when you aren't using them!

I have 20" and a 16" 357 Rossi 92s. They are fun shooters. I believe they come fairly close to what Col. Jeff Cooper called rural assault weapons.

I have a Rossi .45 Model 92. Nowhere near as pretty, just plain Jane blue with a wood stock that is almost black in color. It is also a pre-safety. What it does have going for it is that I sent it to Kiowa Nate Jones for a tune-up, and it is slicker than snot now.
