Are Ruger 10/22's hard to find in your area ?
Quite a few on GB but hate to pay shipping on
what I thought was a common gun.
Hit a couple of my haunts today...found zip.
Few of the AR type 22's available.

My LGS had 3, I bought one and he now has 2 left; one with a Talo laminated stock for about 300, the other has French walnut stock around 340. All brand new. He had the Takedown model a month ago that I wanted but someone got there ahead of me.
 
I just bought one of the TALO International ones before Christmas. Top Gun up the road has some of the take downs, (both versions) and a Boy Scout.
 
I have one of each a nice old walnut 10-22 from 30 years ago and a SR-22 rifle that I bought my kid when he turned 16. Both of which are illegal in ny for the mag capacity and the SR for the pistol grip.
I haven't seen a new one here in a couple months.

I may (reluctantly) post both along with some hi cap pre-ban mags here for sale at some point in the near future. Still on the fence. It will break my heart if I do.
 
I picked up one of the take down models from Cabelas a few weeks back, at the time it was their last one in stock.
 
Nothing in these parts, nor any 22 lr ammo. A nice near-mint 10-22 came into the LGS last week with three 10 round box mags and a 25 rounder. Hit the consignment rack at $299 and lasted two days until I grabbed it for my little diva shooter. As I was filling out the paperwork, two fellers came in, 30 minutes apart, expecting to buy it. You snooze, you looze.
 
10/22s and .22lr seem to be in short supply. My son is getting one as a gift from a friend who ordered it in early December. It has yet to come in and there is no ETA available. No one seems to have .22LR either in my area (MA) or where my son lives (AL).

I would hate to see anyone up there give up their guns. I just believe I'd stick to mine, and tell that bunch in the State Capitol to stick it. If enough of you good New Yorkers stick together, you can beat this ****. If you want, come to Alabama; we'll welcome you AND your guns! Good luck.
 
I haven't really looked for a 10-22 since I picked one up in early November to give to my son for Christmas.

Ammo is fairly difficult to come by locally, I do have one LGS that has a fair amount of Win Super X in 50 round boxes as well as some Rem Thunderbolt, and CCI SV. I bought a brick of 500 Win Super X from him a few weeks ago just to add to the stash.

However, finding mags for it has been a struggle.

Even the standard 10 round rotary mags are difficult to find ( at anything resembling a decent price) around here.

I did luck out and find a couple "25 round" Pro Mags for the 10-22 at my local picked clean Bass Pro. They were limited to 10 rounds, may be why they were still there.

Key word in that sentence is were. A little trip throught the band saw, a little super glue and they magically hold :D25 rounds again! LOL!
 
I wanted a takedown 10/22 in the worst way. This past weekend whilst cleaning out a closet, I found an old take down Browning 22 that I forgot I had! Man, I love it when stuff like that happens :D
 
A while back I bought 10-22's for my daughters. They are in the gun cabinet... and get shot each and every time the girls get to come home for a visit. It's a good thing I didn't wait until recently to buy those rifles because every gun shop I go into has very little in the way of semi-auto magazine fed .22 LR rifles. And none of them have Ruger 10-22's.
 
No one locally has any 10/22's are AR's I kick my self because I had a chance to pick up another M&P 15 sport for 750 OTD and a 10/22 215 OTD before all this started. I known this stuff was going to start up I bought two of each as investments.
