I was wondering if anyone knows of a way or if there are parts to lighten the trigger pull on a Ruger LCR? I currently have a. 22 cal but am considering the new one in. 327 Federal magnum. The double action pull seems quite heavy but I like the gun itself so I would like to know if, other than taking it to a gunsmith, if there is an easier method.

I have a LCR in .38. Pocket carried it for many years! Its trigger pull is manageable, so I have made no attempt to change it.

Hey ever gun and ever person is different. Been inside many S&W Revs but never the little Ruger, if it bothered me I would lean how to "smith it":D

I do know that all of the internals are e-nickle, or nickle-teflon coated. I don't imagine any smith would be comfortable modifying them. HOwever, there's likely a spring kit available for it, if you search.

I had one of those in .327, and it was brutal with those loads, LOL. Indoor range was just too much. With .32 HR Mags it's a sweetie.

LCR trigger pull is different between rim fire and center fire versions by design. Rimfire trigger pull is heavier to ensure ignition. I have both and no complaints with .38 special. Both mine are older DA only.

Spot on. I have the LCR in .327 Federal Magnum and previously .38 Special +P. No comparison between those trigger pulls and the rimfire models.
