A while back, My Buddy had one with super long after market Barrel.
We campaigned that one to a number of Guns Shows before we were able to flip it.
You didn't really need Two Men and a Boy to hold it steady.
One Man and One Boy could get it done!
I have been thinking about MK IV with a 10" barrel since the rumors started. Thinking about it, seems like a lot of weight and I may scratch my itch with a Tac-Sol 10" fluted lighter barrel when I can find one. Since I already have the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit in both my MK IV's seems like a barrel I can swap out when the urge strikes me makes sense.
I think they are neat. Long barrels on handguns can be very sexy. My biggest hangup on a 10" Ruger .22 pistol may be the price point. Especially when the Ruger Charger exist at a MUCH more reasonable price point.
Been there - done that. The 10"-barreled guns do hold very steady, and the long sight radius makes for minimal sighting error if you do your job. I believe this one has a very slight taper on the bull barrel, which I do not see on the Mk IV.
