Ruger MKIII Target - a couple questions.

I have a MKII tapered barrel target. It sat in my safe for twenty years only being shot a few times. After putting a RDS on my 625 I wondered if one would work on my MKII. I had to send it to Ruger to drill/tap for a rail. I then put a Vortex Venom on it and found a new toy. I highly recommend a red dot sight on your MKIII.

I shot it today. All I had was bulk Thunderbolts, but it still grouped well at 20 yards.

The magazine disconnect caught me off guard, but no biggie.

I’ve ordered the Tandemkross rail - once it comes I’ll figure out what kind of red dot I’ll go with.

The LCI just looks cheap, so its gotta go.

70's vintage Standard I got from my Dad around a year ago. The manual is a reprint from a later production, but I just found the original a few days ago going through some of his stuff and need to take a new picture.
