Rumor about 2010 S&W j frame no-locks

I heard a rumor today that possibly more j-frames will be made next year besides the 442/642 WITHOUT the internal lock, can anyone verify this? I am compiling a want list already!

S&W's With Holes

I will gladly accept, shipping paid, ANY S&W with the lock that you or anyone else wants to give away. A S&W with an extra hole in it doesn't bother me. I've already got holes in my head. That's why I'm losing my mind, no?

That lock isn't California approved; CA DOJ could care less if they have them or not. Thank S&W for that one.

The 642 and 442 Pro models that are cut for moon clips will not have internal locks.

I bought a new Model 37 about three years ago with no lock. My dealer had several and they came in with a regular S&W order he didn't request them or get any explanation.
Old stock frames maybe or hopefuly testing the waters. Mine did have that cable lock with it though.

Saw the new Pro Models on the website yesterday. This was hours after I had just placed an order with Smith (military sale) for a M442 no lock.

They have been doing limited runs of no-lock J-frames over the past few years... it was the only way I bought a new 642 last year.
