Still working on my collection. Now have a mdl 18-4 appears to be a .22 combat masterpice. and not a classic SN 29K5536.
Can you tell me when it was made, worth, etc. has the same hammer as my 1953

I recently picked up an 18-3 for $550. You have to realize that I was wearing my Jesse James mask at the time. It was on consignment at my LGS for $600 and I asked if they would contact the owner and ask if he would take $550. Well, he did. Excellent condition, I'd say the finish is 99%. The model 18s are .22 caliber Combat Masterpieces. Held side by side with a model 15, .38 caliber Combat Masterpiece, one can't tell the difference. A-10 is correct on the date (25K0001-56K999). However, with the 29K prefix, I'd put it sometime in later 78.
