I have the same problem with conventionally lubed cast bullets. Load is 13.5gr A2400 and 165 gr CSWCGC 358156. First time, I pulled the cylinder, cleaned, degreased and relubed all revolving parts with Permatex Anti-Seize lube. Next range trip, cylinder started binding at 50 rnds or so.
Cleaned cyl/yoke and loaded some 158gr JHPs with the same powder charge and round count increased significantly before cyl starts to get balky.
I have some coated lead bullets and have been meaning to try them but haven't gotten around to it.
I have a 66-8 that doesn't have the same problem, but have read where others have.
Try some jacketed or coated cast bullets and see what happens.
