S&W 22a questions

I found what I believe is a unique 22a
I would appreciate any one that can fill me in a bit

This one had a light grey rail on top with fiber optic sights
it has wood rosewood looking grips
the box is plastic (for date info)

I have never seen one with the grey top and top of the receiver was also matching grey

any info on this would be appreciated
