I also get good results with Red Dot in the .45 Colt. Best with the 200 gr SWC crimped over the shoulder.

Red Dot is a good choice , supposedly it is not position sensitive and works well for use in the large 45 Colt case.

I would buy thousands of Starr Bullets (of Indianapolis) 185 SWC/HP and load it over 6.7 WW231 for SASS shooting. Very light load! Very accurate! The swaged soft lead bullets would hit a steel plate at a slight angle and slide off, shaped like a daisy and roll across the range floor. Worked well in Lever actions also! Now I use a 230 RNFP with the same 6.7 WW231 and do just as well.
