Um, we really would like to see some pics of your 29-2.
You obviously have the photog thing down. Very nice pics, and a darn nice gun!
I will say this- I believe that yout trigger has been replaced at some point in its past. The side plate shows eveidence that it has been off right below the hammer/sight area, and the trigger you have is an older style from the '60's. I say that because the older triggers were noticably thinner at the tip than the later ones were, and they also have slightly more curve to them.
I own several of both style, and all of the thinner ones came on '60's and earlier guns.
Here is a picture of them side by side. The gun is a 25-2 from 1980. The trigger is from an early '60's gun. You can clearly see the difference here-
Good eye G4F - the difference in the trigger styles is clear in your photo, so I had to check my 29-2's. I have three, 2 6.5" and one 4". The 4" and one of the 6.5" have the thinner, slightly more curved trigger, the other 6.5" has the thicker style. I probably would have never noticed it without your photo to illustrate the difference. All mine are probably mid to late 70's guns. N3137xx (6.5) N3234xx (4") are thin trigger and N3642xx (6.5) has the fat trigger.
