S&W .32H&R

After more than 5 decades of shooting I only recently discovered the 32
H & R. I am weeks away from turning 80 yo, can still shoot the eyes out of a rat at ten paces, and feel like the 32 HR caliber is perfect for me.

I recently took my Ruger LCR out from the back of my safe and found what a joy it is to shoot rounds other than the 327 mag from the same small gun. For me, my carry gun is now LCR stoked with 32 HR mags.

Which load did you select for carry if I may so ask?

The 16-4 is a tack driver, but if the barrel lost the full lug, and made available in 2 1/2", 4", and 6", it might become very popular.

I could not agree more...currently (until the above happens, especially 4" bbl'd, lugless beauty), my Ruger Single Sixes see far more range time, not to mention woods walks and off season covey scouting with my pointer.

I like the caliber so much that I've got 4 molds for it and just over 1000 JHPs of the 85 gr. XTP persuasion rat holed. If it ever gets to the "we're here to take your guns but you can keep just one"...that 4-5/8" bbl'd Ruger Single Six might just be the top contender.

Common, S&W, lighten up on the "every revolver has to look like a "Mad Max" side arm, and start building them like they looked and shot back in the'60's. We'll even pay a premium for them....Rod YMMv if you're a plastic fantastic fan or buy only CC guns. Here's a pair of my .32 H&R's
