S&W .357 Sig Barrel on M&P 2.0 Series

I have a older model M&P full size in 40 S&W. I converted it to 357 Sig using a S&W stock barrel. Does anybody know if this barrel will fit M&P 2.0 Series pistol or the full size? I would like to get the new compact 2.0 or the full size and use my S&W barrel in it.

It will work in the full sized 2.0 .40. Not sure about the compact but I would assume all the geometry is the same and just a shorter barrel. It would be really stupid from a business and manufacturing standpoint for them to do it any other way.

You may not get all the accuracy benefits of the 2.0 upgrades (because they did do a little work on lock up with the new design) but the difference would likely be negligible and you probably wouldn't notice.
