Here is mine. Nickel. Still have original grips somewhere.

Here is my latest. It's a 36-1, looks like about a '66-'68. Haven't nailed it down as yet. Has a set of combat grips on it. Square butt. Not a safe queen but still a very nice early 36 that I can enjoy shooting and looking at.

OK, but my pic is not that good. Waiting on new camera to "freshen" up the pics. M36, no dash, grips serial numbered to the frame, shipped in 1968, box, paperwork, warranty card.

These are great! I may not be able to get any sleep tonight.

Does anyone have a pic of the Combat Grips that were appropriate for late 60's M36's? If so please post. Better if they are on a M36?

Just picked up my latest j-frame. A model 36 from 1973/74. Numbered grips match the gun. No box/papers. Good lock up. A bit of holster wear. Sorry no pics yet. Got a line on 3" barrel round but too.

Mike, thats great. What type of grips were standard? Diamond? It's hard to get a pic of nickle that does it justice.

Just standard checkered round butt grips. It`s a 1981 gun, bought new. (had to look up serial number, would have sworn I bought it a year or two earlier than that)
Would like to find a nickel 3" square butt to go with it someday.

I am filled with unrepentant, pagan lust for each and every gun in this thread.

:D

Here are pics with original grips. Original new price is still marked on the box. $185.00. If only you could still buy them at that price.
