S&W 4556 Info please

Anyone have a value for a 4556, the book says to scarce to value. Anybody bought one in the last couple years? One recently popped up on Gun Broker I can't say Iv'e ever seen one for sale before.

I bought one a couple years ago, LNIB with two mags for $650.

For whatever that's worth.

I watched a 4556 sale of GB last year or maybe 18 months ago. IRRC, it sold for $680 and was in VG condition. That offering was cleaner than this current one.

I like DAO pistols and the all SS frame with the 3.8" barrel along with the limited production in 1991 had me tempted to bid on the 4556.

I figured the carry weight would be 38-40 ounces, which pushes my EDC weight comfort range.
