S&W 48-4 K-22 Masterpiece

Just bought a very nice 48-4 with 6" barrel, box and all paperwork from the original owner.
I understand you can get a .22 LR cylinder to fit this gun.
Anyone know where I might find one? I know it will have to be fitted and timed, but that's OK.

If you can even find a .22LR cylinder, you will not be happy shooting LR in the model 48 as the bore (.22WMRF) is slightly larger then that of a .22LR, therefore, you will loose accuracy with the .22LR. If it were me I'd look for a K-22 or Model 17 for your LR shooting and leave the 48 as a .22WMRF.
