I can not believe that you are doing a 9mm comparison and have not shot the benchmark for 9mms, the browning hi power. Besides owning a nice one myself, I can not help but drool over novaks site looking at their custom house hi powers. You have not shot perfection until you have held some of their pieces. They are on another level.

I'm comparing pistols I've owned and the Hi Powers just never spoke to me enough to fork out money for one. I'm sure they are great but I've just never had a desire to own one. I'm not even enormously fond of the 1911. I've owned a few and still have one because I think it's a good pistol to have in a collection. It's the only .45ACP pistol I own and I never shoot it. I want to shoot the 9mm pistols I own, the only exception being my HK P7 and P7M8.

I have that exact same Gold Cup except mine is blue so it looks like you have great taste in firearms. So, I am not sure if you just do not like the design of the Hi Power or have ever shot one but they are among the best of the best in 9mms. Not to mention if you ever took the 40 SW Hi Power and converted it to the 9mm. It is like shooting the most perfect 9, most nines as you know are snappy and easy to get off target with follow ups. The Browning Hi Power will put shot after shot through the same hole and do it repeatedly without sight adjustment efforts. John Browning is/ was a genius. The BHP also comes up a lot from the arm suppliers and police trade ins so there are often good deals to be had on them.
