S&W 66 2 1/2in. P&R or 3in.66 no p&r

I ran into this same predicament a few years ago so I got both of them. Actually friend and fellow Forum member Leland left me the 2 1/2". Before he passed away he slicked up the internals and added a smooth .400 trigger and combat stocks. It came with the docs and box and still has the original trigger and grips in the box. This revolver is very accurate, easy to carry, and priceless considering where it came from. RIP Leland. Covid got him four years ago.

You can find a 2.5" 66 much easier and for much less than a 3"...I wouldn't turned down the opportunity to buy another 3"..Why not one of each? I did have four 3" but trimmed down to a pair, a -2 &-3.....if you can't find a reasonably priced 3" 66 there's always the model 65 for hundreds less or the snub nose 64 in 38 special.
