Want to know a good price for a 66-2 4 inch.

New in box quality with original box and all paperwork.

Is this a good investment gun that will probably grow in price also?

You can hardly get one in decent shape for less than $550.

I don't know that it will "grow" in value. but if you take good care of it, it probably will not lose value (like most used items) either.

I would guess $450-500 would be fair.

I have (3) 4" models and got them for cheap on the private market.

I just bought a 66-2 4" last Friday for $475. It was a private sale, not from a gun shop. Came with a pair of Pachmayer Gripper grips and the factory wood targets. I would say the gun was overall about 90%, not new but not a LEO turn in either. I wanted one for about $400 but could'nt find a pre lock 4" 66 for sale for over a year until this one came up.
