S&W 66-2 w/ Bobbed hammer

Roboto that 3" 13 looks very similar to mine. Grips on mine are the same too. Regards 18DAI.

Snowbandit: Have you ever experienced any light strikes with any of your bobbed hammer revolvers?

Like you, my preference runs towards internal hammers in the Centennial type revolvers. I have had bobbed hammers in the past and found the lighter hammer enjoys an increase velocity sufficient to overcome its loss of mass as long as a full power spring is used. In other words, I never had a problem with them.

bobbed model 60

(perhaps somewhat off topic but...)

I have a model 60 that I was given as a present that has a bobbed hammer courtesy of the previous owner. I am interested in replacing the bobbed hammer with a spurred hammer. Any suggestions on where to purchase a replacement?
