Colleagues, a high school buddy of mine recently contacted me asking if such a unicorn existed to add to his stable. I understand there may have been a Lew Horton special run that might fit the bill, but he's not looking for a collector's piece, instead something to love and carry as an alternative to his semi's.

Anyone have a lead or a comparable I may offer to him? Cross posted to SWCA boards... TIA.

Best,
Nick.

He can always have something made.

There are custom revolver gunsmiths out there.

I used Throne to make me a custom pair of Model 64's several years ago. He is out of Colorado.

I have also seen a 681 done by a company called Hellfire Customs out of PA.

And there is a whole group of others out there although the group is getting smaller every year.

RSR also did a couple runs, one was finished in Green T coating.
Both were 7 shooters as I recall.

Here's one that I had in my collection back then, but I'm not sure if this is the LH or RSR model..

update - the gun in the pic was a LH model, it was a 7 shooter as well. This one was LHA0013, I also had LHA0014.... what a memory..not :(
