My LGS got me one 2 days after I told him I wanted one. I don't know why It's a big deal Buds got some after 3 years. Who cares.

YOU should hang your head in SHAME!

Such a dastardly deed, forcing me to jump over to Buds. Look at the firearm. Severely bruise my forearm trying to stop it from pulling a credit card out. Having to listen to SWMBO whining (Are you NUTS?.) Almost breaking my right index finger as I, grasping a bloodied pair of vicegrips, tried to wrench it away from the {ENTER} key to complete the transaction.

Then, FINALLY the orgasmic joy of a S&W 3" revolver. This followed by an immense sigh of satisfaction. Now the wait begins till IT arrives at my FFL. I will crouch by the entry door SALIVATING like a doberman before a large chunk of RAW MEAT.

FIE on you sir. I say FIE ON YOU!

I bought the exact same model in 2010. It's my avatar pic... I buy a lot of guns every year and fortunately there are a lot of gun shops and big name stores around the Charlotte area where I live. That specific TALO model doesn't usually show up in stores very often. The Deluxe was actually a limited edition when first released in 2008 and then TALO and S&W decided to keep it in the standard lineup. Still love mine and even though the grips are incredibly well done I ended up selling them as they were not very comfortable in my hand and replaced with old style magnas and tyler t grip.

I'm not really a fan of Bud's. I'll buy there if they have a real good price on a used gun but a side from that I'd pay a tad more at my LGS.

Anyways.... https://www.tombstonetactical.com/c...lus-revolver-357-3in-7rd-stainless-wood-talo/

Should be the same thing as the link in the first post, and it's a better price.

Here's the one I was considering a few days ago.. I like the unfluted cyliner. S&W 686 3-5-7 Magnum Series 3" Unfluted Cylinder TALO Exclusive

They're everywhere right now.. both models I linked to.

I'd do that too, but unfortunately, the LGS around here have confused the term "tad" with the term "ton". :(

I think if I am going to trade or sell my 65-3 in 3 inch for another 3-inch revolver it's going to be something I REALLY WANT, a 586 L-Comp. I've wanted one of those since handling one the year it came out. There's other 3 inch revolvers I really like too like the 66 with the fiber optic sights, but something about that 586 draws me in every time I see one.

I'll just nose around till I find a nice used one with an owner that is open to trades or dealing with me on my 65. This might take me a while though.

Thanks all

I'm real lucky to have a LGS that sometimes beats Buds, and is the top volume dealer in our state.
