Picked up my 2 3/4" Model 69 today. Initial impression is very good. I checked all the standard stuff, plus everything I've seen complaints about.
Barrel (shroud) is straight
Forcing cone looks good
Lockup is very tight
Trigger feels better out of the box than my 4" 69, and it improved quite a bit after some use.
Anxious to shoot it.
