I recently bought a lot of parts and docs from leftovers from estate sale. Amongst the S&W stuff there was this accessory pack. Notice plastic is not sealed and it's folded and stapled. Cleaning rod appears to be for a 6" model. The SAT is what puzzles me, the knurled handle. Is this kit a complete phony? Is the SAT a clone or righteous and just used to make up an accessory pack? I guess would be from 40s for SAT to be real?IMG_5984.webp

It may be an accessory pack from the 50th anniversary of the model 29. The SATs that I have seen for that commemorative release are a little different from the original. The knurling is finer (more bumps) than the originals.

Did Smith make more than one type knurled SAT for the 29-10? Looks like there might be a number stamped on the core of the brush in the kit

that I always thought was aftermarket. The SAT 4th from the right without a tag came out of a 29-10 cleaning kit is the reason I asked.

The OP's SAT looks like an eight row vintage screwdriver to me.
Here is a good picture from Bill in a previous post that shows the anniversary SAT extreme right.

I also believe the OP's mop and brush are modern, aftermarket replacements. Here are some sealed kits and you can see the difference on the aluminum threaded ends

The sight screwdriver (fourth from right) in the photo in post #5 was shipped with Model 29-10s beginning in late 2006. These were regular Model 29-10s (not anniversary models). The sight screwdriver (far right) shown in my photo in post #8 was shipped with a Model 29-10 in November 2006.

Drm50 , does your SAT have a hole in the base of the handle?

No hole and I have a m29 anniversary model in wooden presentation case. Just dug it out, no pac or docs. Must have got short stroked on that one. It's NIB and only bought it for trade piece. That's why I've never seen the knurled SATs.
Got tons of fluted handle SATs.
