I got a full box of 38spl 110g, and a partial box of mixed 158g and 110 g The 1 box is in pretty good shape, the old blue and white box. The retail price sticker on the 50 rd boxes was $7.50 So I know they are quite old, they also have a TN (I guess) tax stamp of 3 cents, now on new stuff it is 10 cents, If I knew how to post pictures I would, but how much is this stuff worth??? the other box has part of one end flap torn away.

They are common, and you have one mixed box. No collector value, but you could probably sell the full box for what a box of fresh ammo sells for today. Or you could always shoot it.

I like my old S&W ammo in the blue and white boxes, it reminds me of my Dad. It'll just sit there in his honor.

Now my boxes of .357 and 44 magnum Black Talon are another story.

Thanks, I'm going to a show this weekend, well at least Sunday, may go to English Mtn drag strip Sat. I will ask what a box and a half of similar ammo goes for and see what happens. The mixed box is the one that has part of the end flap missing I'll just keep the box and shoot the ammo, I fired 3 rds of the 110 through a model 38 no dash nickel body guard, it had quite a bit of recoil, of course that is a very light revolver!!!! I too have some .45acp Black Talon's, kept a box of 17, sold for 100 bucks a full box of 20. When I had my FFL, I told my Dad who was alive at the time, we had better get some of this black talon, the way Win is advertising it in magazines, it will be pulled off the market soon, low and behold it was, glad I hung on to 2 boxes, I have a box of 50 of the Ranger, but it is +P, I would rather not have it in the plus, I carry two diff colt 1911s and a Star PD, all with alum frames. may take it to show and see if I could trade even for a non plus P box.. Thanks, guys.
