S&W and Colt Realized Prices from a Kentucky Gun Auction

I was at a gun auction in central Kentucky this weekend. It was about 1 hour outside of Louisville. Approximately 250-300 bidders were present. The auctioneer kept mentioning that the 100+ firearms were selling too "low". See below and you be the judge. No buyers premium at this auction. Just add 6% to the numbers below for state sales tax to arrive at the final amount. Many of the Colts shown below had the original boxes. Most of the Colts sold at this auction were in excellent to highly collectable condition. The Smith's had a wider variety of conditions as you can see in the description.

I'd say they were about average; definitely a couple I would've bid on at those prices. However the Diamondbacks and Pythons still pulled pretty big money. I would've grabbed both 5 screw K22s!
