May I suggest:
1. Keep your eyes open-be aware of what's going on.
2. Avoid hinky situations completely if possible
3. Do NOT intervene unless you KNOW all the players involved
4. Call 911 and report what's going down
5. Get license # of any car involved as well as noting as much detail of the perps as possible.
I am NOT an LEO, I've no desire to "play" LEO, and #1 priority is protecting my family and myself. IF I am able to help someone else I will, BUT only under certain circumstances where I know the details up front. Example "woman holding a gun on an angry man"-she MAY be defending herself from a thug OR she may be mad at her husband/boyfriend because she's been cheated on. Sorry, I got no dog in that fight. Use youbrain, watch what's going on and avoid trouble whenever possible. Remember, the cop that pulls up on a crime scene has no way of knowing You are the "good guy" and may act accordingly
