S&W Bodyguard 38 grips

Hey guys, I knew I could get a definitive answer here. Bought the wife the S&W Bodyguard 38 and shot it the other day with plain loads and man does that thing sting. No surprise there, the only thing are those cheesy little grips held on with a roll pin so I figured a better set of grips will help out tremendously. Do all the J frame grips fit this gun? I really like the Pachmayr American Legends for the J frame and they say they'll fit, but I don't know... Interweb photo, I'll post with new grips when done. Feedback, please.

If you are referring to the Tupperware thing Smith calls the Bodyguard 38, be aware that it isn't a J frame. It is something else entirely. I don't believe J frame grips will work.

If you are referring to the Model 38 (the predecessor to the M 638), J frame grips will fit since the Model 38 is a J frame.

Yeah, It didn't look like a J frame to me in photos w/o grips on, that's why I was asking. Pachmayr says their American Legends for the J frame will fit so I guess I'll roll the dice. Thanks
