I was talking about the sight being set back from the muzzle. Just think it doesn't look right.

Yeah, I agree, it looks odd. But putting the port on the muzzle side of the sight seems to be the popular way to do it these days.

Dan Christopher, I have a 27-8 and shooting it side-by-side with my 27-4 I can't tell any difference in performance. I'd use it for anything.

I just had a 19 classic delivered to my FFL yesterday which I bought off of GB. I am excited to pick it up which won't be until Tuesday. I am looking forward to comparing it to my 2 19-5's.

Capttjk1 - As I currently own a 2-1/2" Model 19-5, I, for one, would be most interested in hearing how these older models compare to the "new" 19 classic......

I could live with these changes as long as this is close to the price point as the Taurus or the EAA Windicator.
