The Combat Grips that S&W shipped some revolvers with in the 1980's and early 90's are some of the most useful grips (IMO) S&W ever made. Not to mention how beautiful many sets are.
So- lets see some Combat Stock photos!!
Here is a set of round butt rosewood stocks I purchased from a forum member and refinished. Shown on my 19-5.
I bought a bag of 8 sets of grips for $70 to get this pair of round butt Goncalo Alves stocks. Stripped and refinished with multiple layers of tung oil, they now reside on a fully polished 66-4.
My first set of combat stocks are these Goncalo Alves, which came with my 617 back in 1990. They look and work much better on this 586-4.
