S&W Emblem on Stock?

I've seen a few photos of 15-22's that have a S&W emblem marked into the side of the stock. Mine came with no emblem what gives?! Who's came with a logo and who's came without let me know about your's. I'm just cruious.

My guess is that they ran out of the S&W marked stocks and just used an un marked stock from a different mfgr.

I noticed that also, called S&W and was told current runs have no S&W logo .

mine is a fresh batch and came with the logo

Mine is an older one (DTX) and has the logo on the right rear of the moveable part of the stock like in the picture at the top of the thread plus the S&W logo on the left side of the lower above the serial number. Are you guys talking about another logo somewhere on the rifle?

Man mine is a DTZ and didnt come with an Emblem..I'm Jealous!!! I want it to break now so I can send it in and tell em to gimme the cool stock instead of a free mag! J/K

DTX, it does indeed have the emblem, I feel like dancing!

Now all you guys that replaced yours with Magpuls and have the emblem on the OEM stock can get a premium price for your old ones on FleaBay!

My 3 week old 'DUR' has no emblem either. Not a problem here, as long as we don't have any of the problems the earlier models have had. How does the saying go, 'function over form'? Can't see the emblem when I'm looking down the sights! Didn't buy it to look at.....bought it to shoot!!!

If it doesn't have the emblem.... whew... that's not good. The last guy who showed up at the range with an emblemless stock was ordered to leave and his club membership was suspended for 90 days. He got off lucky.

Does it have both emblems?? On the stock and on the lower receiver? If you only have one on the stock then you are half "emblemless" according to Phil .

No emblem on the stock. Picked mine up (the version with the compensator) last month.

Purchased mine in Sept '09 and it has the logo as shown in the OP photo.
