s&w forum get together idea

Dear s&w forum, i have this idea. you know how families have get togethers once a year or so well i have this idea why don't we have a get together were all of the forum members can get together once a year at a different gunshow in a different state and we can all meet each other in person and get to know each other. any and all comments suggestions about my idea would be greatly appreciated sincerely and respectfully mg357 a very proud member of the s&w forum.

We can't have a reunion based on the definition.

But I guess we can have a get together...then have reunions afterwards....:)
 
An annual forum "gathering"? Isn't that reserved for aliens? I like the idea, though. A bunch of gun nuts, all armed to the teeth, in the name of brotherhood! I can see the headlines now! Now if we can just get Lee to host it. Maybe at one of the big annual gun shows, like the Wannemacher in Tulsa?
 
That's a very good idea MG. The only snag I see is that folks are spread all over the Country (World) so getting many members together at the same time would be tough.

Now if Sip buys all of us plane tickets, count me in!!:)

You probably go right by S&W Forum members at gun shows and don't even know it.

If Lee sold S&W Forum ball caps.... :cool:
 
Years ago we did it. Groups were casually formed in California, Mid West, South and Northern East Coast.

Usually had 15 to 20 members at each. Some would meet at ranges. Others at gunshows or someones house. If memory serves me someone did a huge BBQ dinner at one.

It's a good idea.
 
The only logical place would be Hollywood Ca. I'm sure I could get a studio to host it and maybe Barbara Striesand and Alec Baldwin could entertain us...as for the menu, how do you all feel about cucumber sandwiches and green tea?
