S&W Grip Refinishing by forum member VM

I've seen the comments about member VM's refinishing of S&W grips in one of the sections before the realignment within the forum so I e-mailed him.
Got fast response and sent the grips off to him. Received back in about 3 business days so I thought I'd share the results of his efforts!
These are a set of targets that were left in the wood case and the blue liner matl broke down - functional BUT very ugly!!
Hopefully I'll be able to post the before and after pics.

He[Mike]is absolutely great to deal with so if you have a set of ugly grips consider him!
Cost including shipping was quite reasonable!

Man those sure do look better..
VM has the wood working skills on those stocks down..
Mike, What type of finish are you useing on these grips?? Spray on Laquer? Tru Oil?

Ladder - I knew this was out there but with the realignment I didn't feel like digging around to find the thread!

Question where can I buy a replacement set of the original grips for my s&w model 29 as I lost the original ones, Please don't tell me E Bay because I do not like their bidding BS & I won't deal with them got burnt by them in the past, If anyone has a contact for the original square target grips please post it for me thanks PS. they are exactly like the ones in the above post that are being re finished
