S&W Included Tools

Hey guys, what tools, if any, would have been included with a M659 and a M3914 purchased new? TIA

A straight cleaning rod,brush,swab and if it had adj. sights a flat sight adjuster.

I doubt the 3914 would have come with any tools, I believe S&W had pretty much stopped including them by '90.

My 4516, c1989 came with a tool bag.However this was still shipped in the folded blue cardboard box.

My 3906, purchased LNIB, came with the rod, brush, swab, and sight adjustment tool. My NIB 6904 came with no tools. Given when these two pistols were produced, I'd agree with handgunner356: somewhere around 1990, they stopped including them with the standard semi-autos. Special models may be a different story....

My 1991 M3914 came with the straight aluminum rod, the bore mop, and the orange chamber plug.
My 1989 M5904 came with the straight aluminum rod, the bore mop, the orange chamber plug and the flat adjustable sight screwdriver tool.
Here's a pic of the 3914 complete.

Could mine have possibly come with the looped rods? The M659 I bought in '87 from Ashland, the 3914 in '96 from Bill Hicks.
