Carried the 3-inch M13 as an agent (FBI) from the mid-80s until I was forced to turn it in back in 2001. Great little revolver with the Fed Hydra-shocks +P ammo...

Buffalo Bore 38+P 158 grain SemiWadcutter Lead Hollowpoints, they do a little over 1000fps from a 3" . Great load. Spendy but worth it.

I like the 145gr Winchester Silvertips for my 3" 65. The Silvertips have a bit lower recoil than the Hydrashocks. Don't get me wrong though, the 158 Hydrashocks are great bullets too.

By the way here are my chorny results for the two fired out of a 3" 65...

Winchester 145gr Silvertips
1194 fps, 459 ft/lbs.

Federal 158gr Hydrashock
1268 fps, 564 ft/lbs.
