Been hankering for a M&P its good to have American Made, compact model with night sights excellent price, excellent fit and finish, feels good in my paw. I love S&W revolvers I have carried them since 1974 when I was first sworn in as a LEO, in 1989 was issued a Sig, then later a Glock, now another Sig, I think this little M&P fits and feels better than either of the others. I bought a model 59 back about 1976 but never carried it traded it off after shooting it a few times, so this is my second S&W semi-auto, can't wait to shoot it.

I carred a SIG 220 for duty for years then was mandated to 9mm. I bought a full size M&P 45 and love it. As great as the SIG 220 was the M&P seems better!

You will not be disappointed. i purchased the full size M&UP45 ans it mhas performed flawlessly with 185gr. LSWC, 185 and 230 gr. plated and jacketed bulloets both RN and HP. I obtained 1 1/4 to 2 inch ten shot groups at 50 ft. with all the loads I tested.

Congrats, I have the full size M&P 45 in dark earth. It is such a phenominal gun that I have sold off all my personally owned glocks and have an M&P 45 compact on the way to serve as my off duty gun. The full size 45 will remain as my HD/nightstand gun with a surefire X300 and 14 round mags with 10-8 baseplates. Now my only Glock is my department issued G22 which I am forced to carry while at work.

I own an m&p 45 compact and it is an amazing pistol. It shoots very well, I keep speer gold dot short barrel 45 acp 230 gr. HP in it and trust it with my life. Would recomend the compact 45 to anyone and everyone!
