Have you noticed, it seems that the S&W 327 M&P R8 is beginning his career on TV show in the hands of Maggie in The walking dead serie?

(Well, even if it is not very realistic to have that type of rare gun in apocalyptic zombie world...)

Hollywood likes big guns (they show up better on camera) and especially revolvers, something viscerally appealing about those hunks of lead staring at you from the cylinder. You don't even need to send them to a gunsmith to fire and cycle blanks!

Congratulations on getting your revolver used on screen. You might want to get a letter from someone on the the production staff so that you have some documentation that they used yours. It makes a nice addition if you ever decide to sell it after the series ends.

However, there is nothing especially rare about a S&W 327 R8. This has been a catalogued firearm for many years. It is not some Distributor Exclusive where only 250 or 500 were manufactured.

There have been many far more rare S&Ws used on camera, not to mention the BIG guns Clint likes

Right, non mentioning the huge quantity of ammo every TV character lavishly spend : they have propably some carriers behind the screen with 110lbs bags of ammunition...
