love the gun, I mostly shoot steel with it. on paper, I get sub 1" groups at seven yards. no problems, so far.

ok, one little gripe. it came with only two moon clips. I thought that was a bit stingy for such a spendy revolver, so I e-mailed S&W and told them I was a bit disenchanted. I told them I have three M&P pistols that each came with two magazines that retail for $30-40.00 each. I said that I only got two moon clips that retail for about $3.00 each with a revolver that costs nearly twice as much as the M&Ps. I received an e-mail, the very next day. they said they would send me some more moon clips, and I should receive them in 7-10 days. well....16 days later I received three [3] more moon clips. how do they stay in business, being so generous?

TK Custom sells the best moon clips. The match grade type are worth the extra money.

I agree, that it would be nice if the revolvers that are cut for moon clips came with a couple extra, but a revolver like a 986 that can ONLY be used with moon clips should in my opinion definitely come with more than two.

Ha! Right?

Annnnnd. That one can only be loaded with the moonclips! (To run proper)

Imagine going to the range, loading, shooting the two moonclips and having to take the rounds out, load and repeat the process! Not very practical.

In the 9. You must order several (moonclips)to have and at least shoot 200-300 for it to be worthwhile....

I already had 20 that I ordered just after I ordered the gun. they actually got here, before the gun did. I was just a bit disappointed in only getting two. I have a 310 nightguard and a 625. so I already knew what I was going to get.
