Merry Christmas!
For any of you Model 12-2 enthusiast here is my factory two tone! I found this pistol without box or papers at Turners Outdoorsman in 2008.
Shipped April 4, 1969 to H. H. Harris Co., Chicago, IL. Two tone nickel - blue finish.
It is a sweet gun. And doubly sweet that it's a factory two tone! It's my only two tone in my accumulation of pistols. I really had no attachment to it when I bought it. I thought "well, it's a Smith & Wesson" so I bought it even though it was not a pistol that I would at the time had no interest in owning. After all, it wasn't a shooter with a 2 inch barrel and it was not what I would carry for self defense -- not that it wouldn't do the job, it's just too pretty and a holster would have worn the finish. It's funny how these pistols grow on you. Enjoy the pictures. Merry Christmas!
